ART DIRECTION: RECORD SLEEVE DESIGN

These are cover designs we did for Japanese record label Fastcut Records, Swedish record label Ha Ha Fonogram and Brittish record label Sonic Cathedral. First image features 7inch sleeves for the Swedish artist Jonas Game, Sad Day for Puppets and German artist The Soul Boy Collective. Second interactive image spread is Jonas Game CD Album, Sad Day for Puppets CD Album and Sad Day for Puppets CD EP.

TECH-UTOPIA FOR CHEAPO

Swedish shoe brand Cheapo asked us to do graphic design for their booth at the 2006 Bread & Butter show in Barcelona. The theme was tech-utopia and we did a backdrop that measured 8m wide and 1.4m high, featuring futuristic landscapes mixed with organic pastel colored shapes.

ART DIRECTION: MAGIC MONOGRAM

MAGIC MONOGRAM

The series of magic monograms is an ongoing collaboration with the company 3M. We have created two sets of monogram patterns that we call Magic Monogram #1 and #2. The design for the monograms are influenced by pop art. The monogram pattern are laser cut on a material commonly used in traffic for its reflective properties. We are exploring this technique and material to see how it affects the ambience and functionality for interior design in public and private spaces. This is a technique that we have been exploring since 2005. We think it works very well and we are looking forward to apply this in a bigger scale in future interior projects.

Nike Sportswear got together with six well known artists from different fields of work, and asked them to interpret one classic Nike product each. Their works was featured in this custom publication, a collaboration with VICE magazine. DFTS did the art direction.
